Sculptural Works

My sculptural pieces are heavily inspired by organic, natural textures. Each one is created by starting with a pinch pot base, then formed little by little with hand-rolled coils. Each piece is slow dried for weeks before starting the firing process. I enjoy letting the clay guide me as it slowly takes on a new unique form. In contrast to throwing on the wheel, each hand built vessel embraces asymmetry.
